Carl WheelerCarl Wheeler, the Editor in Chief and founder of, is an information technology person by trade and a film aficionado by passion. Movies have been a constant in his life for as long as he can remember. From the first time he saw Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope in theaters back in the summer of 1977, a light was born inside of him that would only intensify over the coming years.

Family influence has gone a long way of feeding into Carl’s cinematic cravings. His father, Earle W. Wheeler, was basically IMDb decades before the movie database reference website was ever established. Anyone could pick up the phone day or night and inquire about a movie, and instantly he would rattle off information without missing a beat. Carl started out writing review pieces several years ago and learned a lot about the industry in the process. Ambition and obsession has led him to where he is today.

Now, Carl is forging his own path ahead into this new and exciting world of ever changing wonder. A proud member of the Detroit Film Critics Society (DFCS), Carl has enjoyed the doors it has opened. He has appeared on Fox 2’s CriticLee Speaking, served as a judge on a panel for Michigan-made horror films and has finally given into the world of podcasting, with more adventures likely to come.
